Moonta Antiques & Collectables Weekend

The Antiques & Collectables Weekend is one of the premier events in Moonta's yearly calendar. With thirty or more leading dealers taking part at various town locations, there is a wealth of collectable items and antique pieces for enthusiasts to browse over.

Valuations of up to three items are offered by a reputable valuator. A weekend ticket gives access to all venues over the two days and a rotating road tram service is available to ferry patrons around the town.

The town's Antique Shops are also open along with the National Trust's Heritage sites and attractions the Moonta School of Mines and the historical the Duke of Edinburgh Lodge.

A value packed weekend for enthusiasts and the family to enjoy.

Activities

After a successful weekend which attracted a good crowd, particularly on Saturday, and left dealers happy with sales and the organisation of the event, the A&C Committee were back at the table assessing the results and looking to further improve on the event next year.

The Organising Committee are to be congratulated once again and thanked for their magnificent effort and the entertainment, tourism promotion and economic benefits the event brings to the Moonta and Copper Coast community, local business and the various community groups who manned doors and contributed towards the event.
