New Float Storage Area a Step Closer

Our proposal to build a new float storage facility at the Moonta's Community Activity Centre received a boost on 11 January when the DCCC approved funding of $8000 from the Mayor's community fund. The DCCC waived building approval fees as well.  

We have Cr Costello and Cr Walker to thank for taking the lead and winning the support of other Councillors to ensure funding was approved at the meeting to allow the project to proceed. Negotiations are continuing with local and Adelaide Shed suppliers and we expect to place an order as soon as Council's $8000 contribution becomes available.
