Street Banner Poles on the Way

According to the District Council, the long awaited Street Banner poles are finally on their way and should arrive at Moonta next week.
The locations for 10 poles have been identified along George Street and our two existing banner poles will be re-located to Blanche Terrace to welcome visitors to the town. The new poles will need painting before they are installed and will initially carry our Christmas garlands which have been stored away for the past 4 years.
Next year we will look at getting banners to promote the town and special town events.
