Horn's Ride Symbolic Re-enactment Begins

Locals gathered at Queen Square early Saturday morning to farewell riders and enjoy a BBQ breakfast provided by Moonta Lions.
Twenty five saddled up riders arrived on cue to assemble at the rotunda for the formal preliminaries and were soon on their way to the encouragement of onlookers and a resounding farewell number by the Wallaroo Kadina and Moonta Brass Band.
The impressive bronze medallions produced exclusively for the event by leading Adelaide trophy designer, Rewards International, proved very popular and the company's willingness to pull out all stops to meet the shortened deadline was much appreciated by organisers and event partners at Moonta and in Adelaide.
