Moonta Bay is right up there when it comes to family seaside attractions.

Whether it's a weekend away or something more, there's plenty to do with jetty fishing up to and beyond the blue line, squid in the sea grass and those much sought after blue swimmer crabs. The sandy beach offers shallow swimming for the family, rock pools for the kids to fossick around and an adventure playground for young children.

For the more energetic there's plenty of sand and space for beach sports and when the weather's fine there are eco bikes and canoes for hire.

The sheltered electric BBQ area is always popular and plenty of seating is available around the playground, car park and foreshore promenade.
