The Moonta and District Progress Association's new website "What's On Moonta" has exceeded all expectations with over 20,800 hits in the first 4 weeks. Visitors to the site have almost doubled and 7,300 pages have been accessed over the period.
The website offers up to date information and a community service to local residents and community groups, promotional opportunities for local business and an information directory and planning resource for visitors, tourists and others with a special interest in the town and district.
The new website was created by Russell Sobey of Moonta ( Sobey Multimedia ) and generously donated to the Moonta and District Progress Association for community use. Russell first developed the Association's website in 2004. He has since graduated with a Degree in Multimedia Studies and continues to play a key role as site administrator. The site is operated and maintained by Progress Association volunteers.
We are excited about our continuing page one rating on Google under Moonta. We appreciate the support of the local community and we thank the many visitors to the site and those who have chosen to visit the site on a regular basis.
