Twilight Market and Beach Carnival

Come along and join in a fun weekend at Moonta and Port Hughes.

Saturday's Twilight Market will take place at the Old Railway Station on Saturday 10th January from 3-8pm.

Stall holders will be offering a variety of interesting items and collectables. There will be a good selection of food stalls, including the traditional Moonta Progress Association BBQ with sweets to follow, drinks and music provided by Gerry Bakker.  The Moonta Art Promotion Group will also have a selection of traditional, landscape, abstract and indigenous local art on display.

The National Trust's Moonta Tourist Train will be offering trips through the Moonta Mines Heritage area with expert commentaries throughout the day.

Why not bring the family along for an hour or two and enjoy Moonta's attractions, produce, local talent and home town hospitality.

Sunday's Beach Carnival

The Yorke Peninsula Branch of Make-A-Wish Australia invites you to Port Hughes on the 11th January for a day of good old fashioned family fun and entertainment.

Events include sandcastle competitions, treasure hunt, sack races and beach sprints.

The Challenge Cup provides an opportunity for you to get your friends and family together and form a team, to compete in novelty events including an obstacle course and tug-of-war, among many others. Fantastic prizes will be awarded throughout the day including an award for the best dressed team.

There will be jet ski rides and kayak hire, kite flying, live band Unfinished Project, food and market stalls and amusements.
