Tourism promotion doesn't get any better than this!

The Hon Dr Jane Lomax-Smith took time out of her busy schedule on Saturday to experience and enjoy the underground mine tour with personal staff and another visiting family under the care of expert Tour Guide, John Barnes.

The Minister was quick to acknowledge the value and the enormous tourism potential of this unique underground experience which has seen almost 4000 visitors over the past 10 months. The Minister's comments in the Visitor's Book quote " A great tour, fascinating location and very much in tune with the State's future. Well done. " are particularly pertinent and timely considering that a decision on the Mine's future as a tourist attraction, will shortly be made by the District Council of the Copper Coast.  Long live the Mine Tours !!!
