Screening at the Moonta Town Hall
David and Carol Burford, owners of Statewide Cinema began screening movies at the Moonta Town Hall in July 2007.
Movies are screened during all SA school holidays and also at other times if there is a blockbuster movie or a special festival.
The dress circle area of the hall has been renovated with the screen enclosing the area. The cinema is air-conditioned and heated, has surround sound and screens 35mm new release movies. A chair lift to the upstairs cinema has been installed for disabled patrons.
The cinema is available for hire to hold fund-raising movie nights for local community /sporting bodies or even for a special occasion.
