There will be something for everyone to enjoy, from unique market stalls and delicious food to amazing kite displays and plenty of hands on entertainment.

For those of you who are a little more adventurous, why not hire a kayak or enjoy the thrill of a jet-ski ride? Other attractions of which we are still awaiting confirmation include demonstrations by the Copper Coast Dragon Boat Club, with the opportunity to have a go on the day.

Live music will be provided by talented young vocalist, Jake Daulby, who’s wonderful talents have been strengthened and consolidated even more since his appearance in Singing With the Stars in 2010.

Down on the sand the action will start from 10:30am, with novelty beach events including sandcastle competitions, a treasure hunt, sack races & beach sprints so there is plenty to keep the kids entertained. The new OPAL "Be active kit" will also be utilised, with some fun and exciting equipment available.

The afternoon program will feature the Make-A-Wish Challenge Cup, which provides the opportunity to get friends and family together to form a team and compete in novelty events including an obstacle course and tug-of-war. Team Entry Forms will be available prior to the day, so if you are thinking about entering a team, please consider getting your entry form in as soon as possible.

The event promotes health, safety and wellbeing and provides a great opportunity for the whole community to be involved. Show your team colours or invent a fancy dress theme for your team. Great prizes will be awarded in various categories; however the focus will be on participating and having fun!
